Privacy Policy

The plain-language version of what we collect, why, and what we'll never do with it.

Effective date: July 5, 2026 — update this date whenever the policy changes.

Who we are

Wrenchly ("we," "us") helps local plumbing businesses in the United States get found in AI search and Google. Questions about this policy or your data: contact@getwrenchly.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • When you request a free audit: your name, business name, city and state, trade, phone, email, website (optional), and how you'd like your audit delivered.
  • If you become a client: the business details you share for our work — services, hours, service area, licenses, staff names you approve for public use, and photos you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic usage data through cookies and similar technologies — pages visited, rough location, device type.
  • If you arrived from one of our ads, the Meta (Facebook) pixel may record that your visit came from that ad and whether you filled the form. This is standard ad measurement, and Meta processes it under its own privacy policy.

Why we use it

  • To run your free audit and send it to you.
  • To respond when you contact us, and to deliver the services you've hired us for.
  • To understand which of our ads and pages work, so we spend our ad budget sensibly.
  • To improve this website.

That's the whole list. We don't use your information for anything unrelated to the above.

What we never do

  • We never sell your personal information.
  • We never share it so other companies can market to you.
  • We never ask for your passwords — to anything, ever.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make this site and our work function: our form-processing provider (which delivers your submission to our inbox), our email provider, and ad-measurement tools like the Meta pixel described above. Each processes data on our behalf to provide their service — not for their own marketing.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use them for basic site function and ad measurement (the Meta pixel). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses ad data in your Facebook ad preferences. The site works fine with cookies blocked — the form still sends.

How long we keep it

Audit requests: as long as needed to deliver your audit and follow up, unless you ask us to delete sooner. Client records: for the length of our engagement plus what tax and business records require.

Your choices

Email contact@getwrenchly.com at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll confirm once it's done.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses and their owners, not children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes affecting existing clients get an email, not just a silent edit.
